Sask Chamber celebrates Saskatchewan Mining Week

APEGS (The Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan) and the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce invite you to celebrate Mining Week in Saskatchewan, at a breakfast at the Blue Lounge in the Hotel Saskatchewan in Regina May 25^thfrom 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

The event will feature a presentation by Darrell Zwarych, VP of Finance - Potash with The Mosaic Company, speaking on "A $6 Billion Growth Spurt: Mosaic's Potash Expansion in Saskatchewan". Tickets are $25 per person, and registration (deadline May 22) or inquiries should be sent to APEGS by emailing angelaf@apegs.sk.ca or by calling 306.525.9547.

ABEX Nominations Now Open!

To honour the efforts of successful companies, who are committed to employees, communities and long-term growth in the interest of all, the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce created the Achievements in Business Excellence (ABEX) Awards in 1984.

The 29^th annual tribute to achievers in business excellence is slated for October 20, 2012 in Regina.

All private sector for-profit businesses within the province are eligible for ABEX recognition, regardless of size or nature of economic activity. Current ABEX sponsors may not apply for ABEX recognition. Companies may submit their own entries, or nominations may be made by a third party.
